A local site packed with political, religious, and historical artefacts and knowledge on both pre and post confederation Ontario.

Very pleasant location with just enough educational plaques and brochures to be informative about the origins of the buildings. The staff were very helpful!

The Sharon Temple is located on beautiful grounds and has a rich history. I call it our own little Pioneer Village up north: not as extensive, but similar. I have had the privilege of meeting the staff who provided a supportive environment for my daughter who worked there over the last couple of years. It's a great site for a picnic, wedding photos, or just a trip out. They also host concerts and other special events. Definitely worth exploring. Be sure to check out the chicken coupe with the quirky name, Fluffy Butt Hut.""

Sharon Temple was built for music so if you ever get the opportunity to go to a concert there don't miss it. It is an intimate venue that is ideal for weddings and concerts. You can also visit Sharon Temple and explore the historic grounds. It's just north of Newmarket.

Michelle gave a friendly and knowledgeable tour of this Quaker establishment. She had in-depth expertise, not only on this site, but other historical buildings, such as Spadina house in Toronto. Well worth the 30 minute tour.

I am leaving this review after attending the Sharon Temple ghost stories walk. A little background: I am an avid horror movie buff. I have seen what some would consider the most terrifying films known to man. But let me tell you: this was the most horrifying experience of my entire life (and I’ve been through some scary stuff). Our guide was excellent and added to the sheer amount of terror I felt during the experience. As much as I loved this and the Sharon Temple, I will never be able to go back due to the haunting memories this tour has left me with. Great job guys!

Beautiful church, not your typical. But the history behind it and all the architectural structures preserved for years is worth checking out!
